Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Mahoney has been a resident of Lower Bucks County since 1970 and was a longtime member of Queen of the Universe Church, Levittown.
Mr. Mahoney achieved three Masters Degrees. He was a United States Army Korean War veteran and while serving in the Army, was a Russian translator.
Until his retirement in 1996, he was a Librarian at Trenton State College for 26 years.
He enjoyed reading, gardening, taking long walks and especially enjoyed his dogs.
Beloved husband of 64 years to Nancy M. (Tremblay), Mr. Mahoney is the loving father of Mary Beth Mahoney and James W. Mahoney (Maria); devoted grandfather of Matthew and Sarah Mahoney; and the dear uncle of Jeannine Mahoney.
He is predeceased by his parents, Mary (Wade) and James Mahoney and his brother, Maurice Mahoney.
Services and interment will be held privately.
