

Born in Bristol, PA, Jim spent most of his life as an office equipment technician for several companies including Xerox, Sharp, HP, and Icon Office Solutions. For a brief period, he owned his own business, JRM Office Equipment. He also worked for Pathmark grocery stores.
In his young adult life, he was a Lower Makefield police cadet
and a Penndel-Middletown Rescue dispatcher. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles club and the American Legion.
He enjoyed the time he spent visiting Dushore, PA. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He made many memories with his friends over the years in which he cherished immensely. Specifically, he fondly remembered his fun times with his red
Jeep Wagoneer. His best friend and companion was his dog Spoons who stayed by his side until the end.
He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Sadie McAnulty (nee Hertz) and his brother Charles McAnulty. He is survived by his brother, Donald McAnulty (Carol) of Fallsington, PA along with several nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 10:00 am until 11:30 am, followed by a funeral service, at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA, 19056.
