

James' Obituary:
James "Jim" Stanley Maglicco, age 89, of Bensalem passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023. He was born to James and Julia (Uzdavinis) Maglicco on November 10, 1933 in Philadelphia.
After high school he joined the US Navy and spent his years of service on the heavy cruiser USS Baltimore (CA-68). A proud Korean War veteran he was part of the Queens coronation and the ‘manning the rails’ during the Naval Review in 1953.
Jim is survived by his wife Pat, daughter Patty (Stephen), and granddaughter Kristen.
He was predeceased by his parents, brother Angelo, sisters Jean and Phyllis and his infant son James,Jr.
An avid outdoors man, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jim was a long time member of the Langhorne Rod and Gun club. For many years he was part of his neighborhood town watch. He collected autographs and loved to read autobiographies of his favorite movie stars. Jim had a slew of one liners that never failed to get a laugh. You could count on him to be the best dressed man at any function he attended. A lover of cruises, he went on many over the years with his wife Pat and the ‘cousins club’.
Patricia's Obituary:
Patricia Ann (Durning) Maglicco age 84 of Bensalem passed away on Wednesday June 14, 2023. She was born October 5, 1938 to Catherine Marie (McCausland) and Joseph P. Durning.
Patricia was a graduate of Fitzgerald Mercy Nursing school’s diploma program in 1959. Early in her career she helped young women at St. Vincent’s hospital for unwed mothers and worked in the obstetric department at Fitzgerald Mercy hospital.
She continued her education earning her BSN as well as her MSN in behavioral health nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. Her certification in behavioral health nursing, RNC, was something she was proud to have achieved. The remainder of her career was spent working with the psychiatric patient population. First at Philadelphia State Hospital at Byberry and the remainder of her career at Friends Hospital.
Having spent much of her youth in Atlantic City, the beach was her favorite place to be. Once the casinos came to town she would spend many a Saturday with her mom and aunts having lunch and trying to ‘win big’. She enjoyed bowling and ceramics. Her manger, Santa, sleigh and eight tiny reindeer as well as other figurines would adorne the house during the holidays.
She was generous in more ways than you could count. Patricia was an exceptionally selfless wife, mother, grandmother, nurse, and friend. Her family was extremely important to her and she always stayed in contact with them.
Patricia is survived by her daughter Patty (Stephen), and granddaughter Kristen. She also leaves behind her sister Cathy, brother Joe and many friends and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband James on June 2, 2023 and her infant son James Jr.
Visitation for both James and Patricia will be held from 9am until 12 noon on Saturday July 15, 2023 at the Chapel at Holy Ghost Preparatory School. The school is located at 2429 Bristol Pike Bensalem, PA 19020.
