James J. Williams

Born and raised in West Pittston, PA, and a 1954 graduate of West Pittston High School, Mr. Williams has been a resident of Falls Township for the past 59 years.

After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy, serving during the Korean War era. He was a member of the Tin Can Sailors.

Until his retirement in 1991, he was employed with USX, Fairless Works for over 30 years. He retired as General Foreman of the Cold Reduction Department.

Beloved husband of nearly 65 years to Marilyn (Huff), Mr. Williams is the loving father of Richard J. Williams (Beth) and Linda L. Kramer (Patrick); devoted grandfather of Christopher R. Williams (Brittany), Megan E. Besterci (Matthew) and Connor P. Kramer; and the proud great grandfather of Evelyn and Ben Besterci.

Mr. Williams is the dear brother of, Mary Lynott and the late Robert Williams and Dolores Celiesius.

Committal service will be held at precisely 11:00 am, Monday, June 14, 2021, in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions in Mr. Williams name be made to the American Lung Association, 527 Plymouth Road, Suite 415, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462-1641.
