Born in Coatesville, Mrs. Whomsley was a long time resident of Lower Bucks County and an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Penndel.
She enjoyed reading, doing word search puzzles and listening to Elvis. She also enjoyed cooking but mostly she loved to spend time with her family.
Beloved wife of the late John W., she was the loving mother of John Whomsley (Loreen) and Ruth Sieger (Ron); devoted grandmother of Kristi Piechoski, Aaron Whomsley, Jennifer Walter and Christine Sieger and the great grandmother of 6.
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 22 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.
