Jeanne F. Pierce Jeanne F. Pierce died on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Paoli Memorial Hospital. She was 91. Born in Tamaqua, the daughter of the late Susan (Portz) and Edward Frantz, she was a former resident of Levittown for over 20 years. Mrs. Pierce was a talented seamstress who enjoyed arts and crafts and ceramics. Beloved wife of 25 years to the late James R. Pierce, she is the loving mother of James R. Pierce, Jr. (Katherine) of Levittown, Pamela J. Betz of Philadelphia and Warren E. Pierce of Levittown; the devoted grandmother of Karen Beth Pierce, Jason Rolan, Shawn Patrick Betz, Stacey Elizabeth Betz, Kelley Colleen Koopen (Christopher) and Kyle Christopher Betz; the great grandmother of 7 and the sister of Eleanor Andrews (Jerome). She was predeceased by her grandson, James R. Pierce III. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, 12:00 until 1:00 PM at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown where her Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Newtown Cemetery.
