Jeannette L. RossJeannette L. (nee Fox) Ross died on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Statesman Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Levittown. She was 85.Born in Stevensville, MD, Mrs. Ross was a long time resident of Lower Bucks County. She was employed for many years at Trenton Road Take Out in Fairless Hills.She enjoyed trips to the Jersey Shore and the casinos.Mrs. Ross is survived by her loving children, James H. Meadows (Diane), Mary "Kitty" C. Nikoden (Leonard), Donald L. Simpson, Donna Jean Flohr, and Joyce Ann Glover.She will also be sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and sisters, Elizabeth Collins, Henrietta Dayton, Mary Jane Meekins, Ernestine Bloodsworth, Patsy Travers; and many nieces and nephews.Mrs. Ross was predeceased by her grandchildren, Jason and Desirae; and her siblings, Grace Magee, Samuel, John and Clarence Fox, and Loretta Perry.The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Statesman Nursing and Rehab and Kindred Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion given to Mrs. Ross.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and on Thursday, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery.Memorial contributions in Mrs. Ross's name may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Fairless Hills, 840 Trenton Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030.
