Joan shared nearly 48 years of marriage with her loving husband, Lori, who passed away in 2004. We imagine she is overjoyed to be reunited with him as well as her five brothers and two sisters and their spouses. She relocated to Shannondell at Valley Forge, PA over 18 years ago where she met new neighbors that became dear friends.
As the matriarch of a large extended family, Joan leaves behind three children, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was much loved by her 36 nieces and nephews and two that pre-deceased her.
Joan leaves a legacy of love and is survived by her three children, Anne Kalick, Peter Maio (Kathy), Margaret Riley (David). She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Craig Kalick (Sarah), Eric Kalick (Krista), Sarah Lane (Adam), and Mitchell Riley and her cherished great-grandchildren, Rhys Kalick, Zoey Kalick, Symon Kalick, and Penny Lane. Additionally, Joan was endeared to the sole survivor of her husband’s siblings, sister-in-law Vincenza (Maio) Boyd.
