Joan L. Palmer

Joan L. Palmer Joan L. Palmer of Levittown passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015 at her home. She was 82. Born in Holidaysburg, PA, Mrs. Palmer has resided in Lower Bucks County for the past 58 years and was a member of St. Michael the Archangel parish. She was formerly employed at Nortec in Bristol Township for 20 years. She enjoyed playing bingo and taking trips to Atlantic City and Parx casinos. She also enjoyed shopping on QVC. Mrs. Palmer was the wife of the late Charles E. Palmer. She was the loving mother of Charles E. Palmer Jr., Annette J. Chewning, Cheryl A. Kirner (Dave), Mary Jo Westerholder (Eric) and the late Jeffrey M. Palmer. She will also be sadly missed by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. on Thursday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church followed by Rite of Committal at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Bux-Mont, 480 Norristown Road, Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
