

John F. Axenroth John F. Axenroth died at his home in Levittown on Monday, March 10, 2014. He was 57. Born in Philadelphia, the son of Gertrude (Williams) and Elwood Axenroth, John had lived most of his life in Bristol Township. He was a 1975 graduate of the former Delhass High School and was a member of Immaculate Conception BVM Parish, Levittown. John was employed for 38 years with General Motors presently in Langhorne and formerly in Ewing Township and was a member of the United Auto Workers Union. He enjoyed playing football, softball, and watching the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers. He was an avid outdoorsman who thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing. John was a Charter Member of the Bucks County Blues Society. John was happily married to his high school sweetheart Marianna (Rosadillo) for 36 years and was the loving father of Jacob Axenroth (Janice); Andrea Santiago (Jason); and Tara Deck (Matthew). He was the devoted Pop Pop of Anna, Jayson, and Jacob. He was a loving and dedicated brother to Carol Ann Smith (deceased), Judith Binkowski (deceased), Diane Przybyszewski (Sonny), Thomas Axenroth (deceased), Paul Axenroth (Regina), Theresa Axenroth, Mary Ellen Heitmann (Rick), Deborah Weiser (Joe), and Robert Axenroth. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family members and loyal friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Friends and Relatives will be received from 10:00 to 10:30 am on Saturday at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Bucks County Blues Society, PO Box 482, Levittown, PA 19058.
