John Knox Brior, Jr.

John Knox Brior, Jr. John Knox Brior, Jr. died on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Aria Health Bucks Campus. He was 96. Mr. Brior spent 15 years as a coal miner for the Anthracite Coal Region of PA. In 1953 he bought his home in Fairless Hills and began working at US Steel. He was an original member of the Falls Township Senior Activity Center. He was also a member of United Steelworkers SOAR (Steelworkers Organizations of Active Retirees). Mr. Brior was the loving husband of the late Blanche. He was the devoted father of Patricia A. Clunn of Hulmeville and Robert E. Brior (Carolyn) of Easton; brother of James Brior (Joan) of Downingtown and Cora Jenkins of Lancaster; and brother-in-law of Ilamae Brior, Minnie Brior, Mae Berger, Byron and Joyce Roth and Vera Jean Roth. He will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the Harman Funeral Home, 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen, PA 18246. Interment will follow in Saint John Church Cemetery.
