John P. Fitzgerald

John P. Fitzgerald John P. Fitzgerald of Levittown passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at St Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 82 years old. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey and raised in New York City. He served in the United States Air Force. John met his Joanie when they were 4 years old. They married in August of 1956 and celebrated almost 59 years of marriage. He was a devoted family man who loved his family. Preceded in death by his son John Michael and his daughter Margaret Ann, John is survived by his loving wife Joan, five children Timothy (Lisa), Kathleen Johnson (Douglas), William (Diane), Mary Beth Cisneros (John) and Thomas (Sally), and 11 grandchildren. He will be remembered with love as a quiet gentle man. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Friends may also call on Saturday, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church, where his funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 am. Interment will be held privately.
