Fly, Hanley, fly! After a brief illness at Lower Bucks Hospital, John J. Hanley passed away at the age of 73 on September 24, 2018 with his loving wife, Sue Hanley, and daughter, Cheryl Revak Quimba, by his side. He is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret L. Roessler, and father, John A. Hanley, as well as his nephew, Johnny Schoen. Along with his wife and daughter, John leaves behind his sister, Loretta Schoen, two beautiful grandchildren, a son-in-law, cousins, nieces, a nephew, and countless friends. He was a man of few words with an easy smile. Known as hubby, dad, poppop, brother, uncle, Mr. Handsome, or just “Hanley,” he was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and on Thursday, October 4, 2018, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at 10:00 am.
