John J. Harrigan

Born and raised in New York City, Mr. Harrigan resided in Bergen County, New Jersey for many years before moving to Stoudsburg, PA and then Fairless Hills 4 years ago where he became an active member of St. Frances Cabrini parish.

He spent most of his working career as a Certified Public Accountant at Rockefeller University in New York City from where he retired in 2004 after 22 years.

Beloved husband of the late Patricia A., Mr. Harrigan was the loving father of John W. (Maureen), Tim (Michelle) and Ed; devoted grandfather of Tara McCreedy (Jordan), Kimberly, Brendan, Ryan, Marissa, Zachary and Kevin and great grandfather of Cade and Connor.

He will also be missed by his two sisters, Lorraine McCarroll and Dorothy Barron as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3rd, at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Friends may also call from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 4th at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Rd., Fairless Hills, PA 19030 where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at 12 noon at Holy Cross Cemetery in Jamesburg, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Frances Cabrini Church.
