Born in Philadelphia, he was a lifelong area resident. John was an old car enthusiasts, loved his times in Disney World with his wife, Rose. He could fix anything he looked at, was a "Jack of all trades" and his caring heart will be missed by many.
Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Rosa Martofel, his loving wife Rose, his sister, Rose, his son, John, and his grand-daughter Xena Martofel; he is survived by his siblings, Marie, Albert, Luis "Bob" and Helen; his children, Edward, Eric, George and Heather; his best friend, Glen Garris; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; friends, especially the guys in "The Bad Boys" club at Yardley Rehab.
A viewing will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with a service at 11:30 a.m. at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056.
Burial will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, 1215 Super Hwy., Langhorne, PA 19047.
