John C. McDonald of Levittown died on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at his home. He was 71.Born in Princeton, NJ, Mr. McDonald has been a Lower Bucks County resident for many years.John was an avid cat lover and cherished time with his three cats, Abby Rose, Angel Baby and Fiona. He also enjoyed the time he spent baking and watching the history channel.Son of the late Sylvester McDonald and Edna Lynn, John was the brother of Robert Engel, David Foley, Joseph Engel and the late Dorothy VanAlstyne, Earl McDonald, Sam McDonald, Charles Engel and George Engel.He was the uncle of Jennifer Siegel, Patricia Matthews, Ann Marie Petit-Clair, Denise Schultz and Shirley Whitney and will also be missed by many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.Family and friends are invited to call from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Monday, August 15 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
