John H. Synder, Jr.John H. "Jack" Snyder, Jr. died on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at his home in Levittown, surrounded by his loving family. He was 71.Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Snyder has been a life long resident of Levittown.Until his retirement in 2010, he was employed with the Pennsbury School District as a Computer Technician for 35 years. Mr. Snyder was a member of Levittown Fire Company #1.He was a very talented woodworker and loved baseball.Mr. Snyder is a US Navy Vietnam War veteran.Beloved husband of 28 years to Patricia A. (McGuire), Mr. Snyder is the loving father of Kristina Wiseman (Eric), Sheri Aaron (Jamie Greenbough) and Xoe (Kristin) Cranberry (Christiana).He is the devoted grandfather of Garrett, Heather, Michael, Damian and Reese; and the dear brother of Robert Snyder and Loreen Ringersen (Craig).Mr. Snyder will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held on Monday, 9:00 am. Interment to follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
