Joe’s favorite place in the world was the lake house at Penn Werner, where he and his love, Maria, created a haven for family to gather. Whether cruising on their pontoon boat, sharing stories, or simply enjoying the quiet of the water, that home reflected everything Joe valued most. He found joy in fishing, playing darts, and bowling, but his greatest gift was the way he made people feel. Joe’s impact on those around him was immeasurable, felt in his kindness, his humor, and the steady, comforting presence he brought to every moment. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by wife, Mary Meszaros and his mother, Laura Mae Meszaros (Vandine).
He is survived by his fiancé of 16 years Maria Rosar; his father, Joseph M. Meszaros Sr.; his two children, Joseph M Meszaros, III and his wife, Christina, and Crystal L. Corrigan and her husband Raymond; 5 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; his sisters, Laurie Meszaros (Rick Castillo), Linda (Pete Ferraro) and Amy (Bob Lindsey); and several nieces and nephews.
Joe also had deep affection for Maria’s children, grandchildren, sisters, and nieces embracing them as part of his own family.
There will be a small intimate memorial for his immediate family at a later date as per his request.
