Joseph Michael "Joe" Radvansky, passed away in his home on Friday, April 19th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and love. Throughout his 85 years, he touched the lives of countless individuals with his generous heart.
Joe was born to Helen (Lalaeff) and Joseph Radvansky Sr. in McKeesport, PA, on May 27th, 1938. Joe's early years were marked by academic success, culminating in his graduation from Delhass High School in 1956. Following his graduation, he answered the call to serve his country and proudly served in the Army Security Agency at Fort Devens, Massachusetts, from 1957 to 1960. His dedication and commitment to his country were evident in everything he did during his service.
Upon returning to civilian life, Joe embarked on a fulfilling career at the Fairless Hills Steel Mill, where he served as a Union Arbitrator for United Steelworkers Union Local 4889.His unwavering dedication to ensuring fair treatment for his fellow workers earned him the respect and admiration of all who knew him.
In the moments between his professional endeavors, Joe found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a passion for the excitement of the casino, the camaraderie of bus trips with his wife, and the joy of singing and dancing. He never missed an Eagles game. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he could light up any room with his infectious laughter and bright spirit.
Joe's memory will be lovingly cherished by his surviving family members, including his beloved wife of 60 years, Patricia (Wall) Radvansky; his daughters, Christine Radvansky Capozzi (Peter Capozzi), and Karen Radvansky Myers (David Gould); and his grandchildren, Sofia Capozzi and Enzo Capozzi. He is also survived by his sister-in;law, Katherine Wall Cordon; his brother-in-law, Gus Wall; and may nieces, nephews, and cousins, especially Diane Kraynak, whom he loved dearly. Though they may be physically apart, their memories will forever remain etched in Joe's heart.
A memorial gathering for Joseph will be held Friday, May 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 66 Levittown Pkwy, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19054. A funeral mass will follow at 12:00 PM. Burial with full military honors will be at 2:00 PM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, Pennsylvania 18940. Please be in line at the main office at 1:45 PM.

Joe "J Rags" will forever be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished friend. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his spirit continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him.
