

Joseph F. Volpe, Jr. Joseph F. Volpe, Jr. died on Monday, August 25, 2014 at his home in Langhorne. He was 63. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Mr. Volpe has been a Langhorne resident for the last 25 years. Joe worked as a CPA for many years, most recently with the Family Court Division of the State of New Jersey. He enjoyed sports, especially hockey and baseball. He was a Little League Umpire for several years. Joe also loved decorating for Christmas and was an avid train enthusiast and he also enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia. Beloved husband of nearly 31 years to Mara G. (Gorsetman), Joe is the the loving father of Lauren N. and Alicia J. Volpe. He is the devoted son of Ann (Mafrici) Volpe and the late Joseph F. Volpe, Sr. and brother of Robert Volpe (Ronnie) and Stephen and Joan Volpe. Joe will also be sadly missed by his sister-in-law, Kim Navas and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm and again on Saturday, from 8:00 until 9:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, Fairless Hills followed by the Rite of Committal in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joe's name may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis National Society, 1 Reed Street, Suite 200, Philadelphia, PA 19147.
