

Born on May 23, 1979, in Bristol, Josh was a beloved husband, devoted father, cherished son, loyal brother, and a friend to many.
Josh is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Mary (nee Westbrook) Lemp, and their four children: Nathan Steven (18), Alex Hans (15), Kelsey Vera (10), and Ryan Joshua (5). His greatest joy in life was his family, and he took immense pride in being a present, caring, and hands-on father.
He is also survived by his mother, Kathleen Lemp (née Batman); his brothers, Mathew Lemp and his wife Amy (nee Comstock), and Jonathan Lemp. Josh leaves behind a large and loving extended family, including numerous in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom will deeply miss his presence, humor, and steady support.
Josh was predeceased by his father, Steven Hans Lemp; his paternal grandparents, Hans G. Lemp and Hilda Chapman; and his maternal grandparents, Harold Smith and Mae Smith (nee Miller).
Josh was a dedicated truck driver with a genuine passion for the open road. He found purpose and freedom behind the wheel, and he always rode in style. His work ethic was unmatched, and he took great pride in a job well done. For Josh, trucking was more than just a profession—it was a way of life that he embraced fully and with heart.
Josh will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous spirit, and deep commitment to those he loved. He cherished his close bonds with neighbors, work family and close friends, always welcoming them into his home and heart. Whether he was sharing a laugh, offering a helping hand, or cruising the highway with pride, Josh lived his life with authenticity and passion.
A memorial service to honor Josh’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, and Thursday, July 31, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. , at the James J Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA.
