Joyce George died suddenly at her home on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Joyce was a southern belle who lived most of her adult life in the Philadelphia area. She was the mother of Karen (George) Floyd, mother-in-law of Rich and grandmother of Zachary and Brooke. The love of her life, her husband Joseph passed before her. Joyce was fun loving, creative and loved Jesus. She worked at the fabric warehouse for many years and shared her enthusiasm for crafts and sewing. She loved cooking for friends and had a compassionate heart. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 8 at Emilie United Methodist Chapel, 7300 New Falls Rd., Levittown. A coffee and cake reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are welcome to the Joyce George Memorial in care of any TD Bank branch.
