Karen S. Arndt

Karen S. Arndt Karen S. Arndt died on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Aria Health Bucks Campus. She was 62. Born in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Mildred (Saldutti) Waschak and the late Charles Waschak, she was raised in Yardley. Prior to moving to Middletown Township this past year, Karen was formerly of Fallsington. A graduate of Bishop Conwell High School, Class of 1966, Karen also graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelors Degree and from Weidner University where she earned her Masters Degree. She was an educator with the Pennsbury School District for 35 years until her retirement in 2007. Karen was the devoted mother of Krista Lynn Arndt and Jeff Arndt and his wife, Tracey, all of Levittown and the proud grandmother of Kayla, Ryan, Jaiden, Chase, Jack and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her 6th grandchild, due in July. She will also be sadly missed by her brother, Allan Waschak and his wife, Kathy of Clarksville, MD and her three nephews, Joey, Michael and David. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, 6:00 until 9:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 11:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown. No calling hours on Saturday morning. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Karen's name may be made to her family in care of the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056.
