Kate Ricciuti

Born on June 12, 1943 to Barney Pickering and Regina “Billie” Hammes. Kate was the oldest of 5 children born and raised in Magnolia, NJ. She moved to South Philadelphia in 1972. Kate (aka Cookie) was a huge Phillies fan and loved to read (especially Harry Potter), she was rarely seen without a book close by. She also would enjoy playing scrabble with anyone willing to go up against her as well as puzzles and playing solitaire.

Kate was preceded in death by her husband Jules (Jr.) Ricciuti, daughter AnneMarie Oueslati, sister Louise Carlin (Frank) and brother Barney Pickering (Laurette).

She is survived by her children Lonnie Rivenbark (Jeanne), Desiree Kristoff (Tom), Jules Ricciuti. Sisters Susan Kingett (Ray) and Regina DiMattes. Grandchildren; Amanda Pasquarello (Robert), Matthew Pasquarello, Lauren Rivenbark, Andrew Rivenbark (Hannah), Bianca Ricciuti, Aziza Oueslati, Gabriel Oueslati, Anthony Oueslati, Angela Hernandez, and Adam Hernandez. She also had several great grandchildren whom called her “GiGi,” Giavanna, Robby, Kayleigh, Jules Jr., Hazel, Ikeem, Enzo, Santo, AnneMarie and Vada as well as her many loving nieces and nephews.

Interment will take place Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Washington Crossing Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 19040 as she loved her birthday and would always want to know what we were doing for her on her birthday. We find this to be fitting as she would just love the send-off.
