

Born on October 28, 1931, Katharine was the daughter of Dimetri and Katharine Krawciw. She dedicated more than 30 years of her life to serving patients and supporting the team at Dr. Lindenbaum’s office, where she was known for her kindness, reliability, and warm presence.
Katharine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stephen Evancho; her parents Dimetri and Katharine Krawciw; and her son, Stephen D. Evancho. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Venere; her grandchildren—Nicole Evancho, Lindsay O’Connor (Tim), Tracy Evancho, and Michael Venere SR (Kristen); and her six great grandchildren—Amber, Mikey, Zachary, Carly, Liam, and Joey. She was deeply cherished by her family and warmly loved by all who knew her.
Katharine lived a long and beautiful life marked by kindness, strength, and unwavering love. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and wisdom, and she had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome. She touched countless lives through her generosity, gentle spirit, and the simple joy she took in caring for others.
Family meant everything to Katharine. She took immense pride in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, each of whom brought her profound joy. She also enjoyed bowling, cheering for the Phillies and Penn State, taking casino trips, playing bingo, and spending time with her beloved dog, Lily.
Though she will be profoundly missed, her family is forever grateful for the 95 years they were blessed to share with her. Her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service, at the James J Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA. Burial take place at Sunset Memorial Park, Huntingdon Valley, PA.
