

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend; his presence will be deeply missed.
Ken was born on February 19th, 1942 in Philadelphia and attended Overbrook High School. He married Michele S Benton in November of 1987, spending thirty-eight loving years together.
He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961 to 1965, before devoting his life to his family and his many careers, some of which included: real estate broker, pilot, taxi driver, and ice cream shop owner. Between moments of celebrating his grandchildren’s many achievements, he enjoyed spending his summers at Shellbay Campground with his family and friends. He will be remembered for lighting up the room with his warmth, sense of humor, and sharing his vast knowledge of History.
Ken is survived by his wife, Michele S Benton; children, Brian (Kim) Benton, Ken (Christina) Benton, Holly (Robert) Simon, Amanda (Frank) Carzo and Heather Benton; grandchildren, Taylor (Will), Tyler, Kylie, Lucas, Aubrey, Harral, Rowan and Emma; siblings, Jaye Pogoda, Shirley Aukett, Albert (Patricia) Goessler, Barbara Ricker and Janet (Edward) Tomcavage.
Family, friends and those whose lives have been touched by Kenneth are welcome to join in celebrating his memory at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056, on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.
Military honors will be rendered at 12:00 pm.
