Kevin M. Gallagher Sr.

Born in 1957, Kevin graduated from Bishop Egan High School and dedicated 20 years to the Pennsbury School District, working at Afton Elementary School in Yardley, PA, before retiring.

A passionate fan of Philadelphia sports, Kevin particularly loved the Phillies and Eagles, and had an unexpected fondness for the Minnesota Vikings. He enjoyed relaxing while watching sitcoms like “The Big Bang Theory” and “Home Improvement,” and often joined Carol in viewing “The View.”

Kevin’s career at Afton Elementary School was marked by his unwavering commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff. His warm presence and dedication left a lasting impact on the school community.

Kevin was predeceased by his parents, James L. and Hannah (Pendergast) Gallagher; brother James A. Gallagher; mother-in-law Joan (Searfoss) Dohl; sister-in-law Linda Dohl; brothers-in-law Alvin Dohl and Francis McClarren; and niece Cheryl “Cheri” (McClarren) Curry.

Kevin was a devoted husband to his wife, Carol (Dohl), and a loving father to his son, Kevin Jr. He cherished his three grandchildren, Trey, Aubrey, and Logan. He is also survived by his sister, Nora “Honey” (Gallagher) McClarren; his sisters-in-law Shari Dohl (partner, Tom Lessig) and Kristin (McManus) Dohl; his daughter-in-law, Jennifer Greer; his nieces, Michelle McClarren and Susan McClarren; his nephews, Kirk McClarren (wife Jennifer) and Colin Dohl.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Georgine’s Restaurant, 1320 Newport Road, Bristol, PA 19007.
