Born on August 3, 1943, she was the beloved daughter of the late Helen and Joseph Entler of Upper Darby, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip E. Michael, on October 19, 2006.
A lifelong believer in the power of education and helping others, Linda graduated from West Chester State College with a Bachelor's degree in Education. She began her professional life shaping young minds as an elementary school teacher in Philadelphia, and later taught high school students at the Student Education Center. Driven by a deep desire to care for her family and community in a new way, she later returned to school and graduated from the Saint Francis School of Nursing in 1994. While she did not practice professionally, she put her medical training to profound use at home, service as a devoted and compassionate caretaker for both her mother and her aunt.
Above all, Linda was a dedicated mother, teacher, and caregiver who carried a deep, quiet Christian faith throughout her life. Her nurturing spirit extended far into her community, where she spent time volunteering as a cookie mom for the Girl Scouts and a den mom for the Boys Scouts. An avid reader, she loved downloading ebooks from her local library, challenging herself with word games, and tuning in to her favorite game shows. She was incredibly talented at art, crafts, and sewing, and over the years, her deep capacity for love was shared with the many pets she cherished and cared for. She leaves her family with beautiful, hand-crafted memories.
She is survived by her three children: Christopher J. Michael (Cindy), Catherine H. Michael, and Peter G. Michael. She is the cherished grandmother of Justin and Gillian Michael.
Linda is also survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Dennis and Joy Michael, Robert and Sandy Michael, Gregory and Sue Michael, and Nicholas Michael and his partner Teresa; as well as many extended family members. She also leaves behind her cherished best friend of many years, Gigi Gibbons.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem, PA.
