

Louise Phillips was called to her heavenly home on Jan 31 2023 at the age of 84. Louise will be remembered as a person who loved deeply and served willingly; she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A lifelong resident of Levittown PA, Louise graduated from Neshaminy High School where she was a 3 sport athlete and named one of the first gym night color captains. Louise graduated from West Chester University and went on to be a physical education teacher and instructional assistant in the Pennsbury School District.
An active member of the community, Louise especially enjoyed serving in the nursery and woman’s ministry at Calvary Baptist Church. Louise loved watching the Phillies, attending all of her grandchildren’s recital’s, sporting events, and graduations as well as spending summers in Stone Harbor NJ making lifelong memories with her immediate and extended families.
She was predeceased by husband, Owen Phillips, siblings Harry and Gail Stoop, Jean and George Schardt.
She is survived by her children Kim and Al Stoltzfus and Gary and Kim Phillips; her grandchildren Kyle and Jill Stoltzfus, Nathan and Natasha Stoltzfus, Alicia and Cordell Ellis, Elena Stoltzfus, Seiler Phillips, Cameron Sooby and Maria Sooby; siblings Pat and Ralf Stegmann; many loved nieces and nephews; and dear friends Marge and Rich Kilian.
Her loss is deeply felt by her family and community who will miss her dearly but rejoice in the peace she now has with our Father in Heaven.
Her family invites you to celebrate her life with them with a viewing on Monday Feb. 6th, 2023 at the James J Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056 from 9am to 10:30 am with a service following. The interment will follow for those who wish to attend at 2 pm at Mount Joy Cemetery 285 Terrace Road, Mount Joy, PA 17552.
