Madeline Menschner-Sheenan

Madeline "Midge" Menschner-Sheenan died peacefully on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at her daughter's home in Florida. She was 83.Born in Trenton, NJ, Midge had resided in Falls Township since 1962. She was an active member of Saint Frances Cabrini Church, Fairless Hills, where she served for many years as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister. Midge was a professed Franciscan of the Saint Bonaventure Fraternity..Midge was employed with Educational Testing Service, in Ewing, NJ for over 20 years until her retirement in 1987.She was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. Menschner, Jr. and the late Joseph A. Sheenan; loving mother of the late Frank W. Menschner; and mother-in-law of the late Doreen Menschner.She is survived by her devoted children, Patricia Cummings (James), Susan Miller and Michael Menschner (Marybeth). She was a beloved stepmother to Joe, Marie, and Krista.She will also be sadly missed by her 6 grandchildren, Michelle Darby (Dante), Brian Cummings (Laura), Jill Cummings, Scott Miller (Amanda), Christine Miller, and Robert Miller (Alicia); 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Friends may also call on Thursday, from 8:30 until 9:30 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030 where a Franciscan Wake Service will be held at 9:00 am and her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Midge's name may be made to Saint Frances Cabrini Church at the above address or to the Charity of Donor's Choice.
