Margaret Brandt

Margaret Brandt died on Monday, March 29, 2010 at Aria Health Bucks Campus. She was 81. Margaret was born in Triadelphia, WV, the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Goundry) and Charles Cherry. Until retiring in 1991, Margaret was employed with US Steel, Fairless Works, in food services for over 25 years. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, however, her greatest enjoyment was talking about all of her grandchildren. Margaret is the beloved wife of the late Alton C. (Duge) Brandt. She is the loving mother of Alton, Jr. (Skip) and his wife, Cindy of Conroe, TX; Victor and his wife, Cathy of Hulmeville; Mark and his wife, Terry of Levittown; Cheryl Brandt of Trevose; Rose Parson and her husband, Glen of Levittown; Diane Paslo and her husband, Michael of Levittown; John C. of Levittown and Kimberly Duffy and her husband, George of Levittown. She will also be sadly missed by brothers, Charles, Bobby, Donny, Billy Cherry all of Triadelphia, WV, her grandchildren, Saranna, Jennifer, Brittany, Caitlyn, Amber, Victoria, Zachary, Tyler, her great granddaughter, Hayleigh, many nieces, nephews and her dog Squiggles. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Harriet, Sarah and Abby. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, 1:00 until 3:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., where her funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm. Interment will be private. The family has requested that memorial contributions in her name be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Inc., Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
