Margaret R. McClureMargaret R. "Margie" McClure died on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at her home in Levittown. She was 72.Born in Philadelphia, Margie was a longtime resident of Levittown. She was a 1962 graduate of Saint Hubert High School and received her Licensed Practical Nursing license in 1985. She worked in Pediatrics until her retirement in 1997.She was a member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish, Fairless Hills.Margie will be sadly missed by her sorority sisters, with whom she kept close contact with for over 50 years.She loved watching sports, reading, and traveling in her earlier years especially to Wildwood, NJ.Beloved wife of 50 years to John R. Jr., Margie is the loving mother of John R., III and Daniel E. (Noelle) McClure.She is the devoted grandmother of Matthew, Ryan, Alexis, Megan and Gianna; and the sister of Geraldine Boyle (Ronald Kramer) and Jack Boyle (Debbie).Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 9:30 until 11:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:00 pm at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, Fairless Hills, followed by the Rite of Committal at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis National Society, 30 South 17th Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
