Born in Philadelphia and a long-time resident of Bensalem, Peggy was a member of St. Ephrem Parish. She was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School and Temple University. The majority of her career was spent working for Roofers Local 30, until her retirement in 2021. Prior to that, she was a teacher for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Peggy-Joan O’Malley and sister-in-law Rosemarie O'Malley. Peggy is survived by her son Stephen O’Malley and wife Nicole; three grandchildren Nicolas, Joseph, and Vincent; siblings Patricia Bencardino (James) and Michael O'Malley (Debbie); long-time companion Richard Yezzi; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25th at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. The Rite of Committal will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
