Marian D. Greene

Marian D. Greene Marian D. "Irene" Greene died on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown. She was 70. Born in Claysburg, PA, Mrs. Greene has been a resident of Lower Bucks County since 1968. She was a member of Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia. She was employed by ASI, formerly in Langhorne, now in Trevose as a receptionist. Her favorite saying was "have a sunny day." Mrs. Greene enjoyed gardening, however, her greatest pleasure and enjoyment was the time spent with her family. Beloved wife of 46 years to Barton R. Greene, she was the loving mother of Barton A. Greene and Andrea Farish (Mark). Mrs. Greene was the devoted grandmother of Aaron, Addison, Devon and Dylan. She is also survived by her sister, Carol Overton of Edonton, NC and her brother, Clair Dibert of Coatesville, PA. She will also be sadly missed by a large extended family. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, 13500 Philmont Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19116, where her Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the above church.
