Some knew Marie as Mimi Potts growing up on Salmon Street, Port Richmond, attending Little Flower High School (class of 1961), and Jack who was lucky enough to be married to her for 58 years, knew her as his princess.
Marie worked at Dr. Jerrold Snyder's office for 10 years and resided in Hulmeville Borough for 48 years. Her smile was radiant like the sunshine and she had a distinctive, infectious laugh you could hear in a crowded room many years later and know it was her. She was an avid book reader, crossword enthusiast, and storyteller who also loved dancing and listening to Elvis songs. She enjoyed frequent winter trips to Florida, and spending the summers in Wildwood, NJ with friends and family. Her grandchildren were a huge part of her life, whether they needed a friend, pretend patient or a movie buddy, she was always there.
Marie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Catherine (Cass) and Joseph Potts "Wally", and her brother, Joseph Potts as well as many other dearly departed family members.
Marie is survived by John Jacob Buczek "Jack". Marie was a proud mother of 4; Jeffrey (Angelique), John (Tracey), Stephen (Kathy), and Christine (Charles); and a beloved Mommom and Nana to 9 grandchildren (she called her Dingbats), Kailey, Ryan, Miranda, Madelyn, Alyssa, Valenteen, Johann, Stephen and Jacob.
She will truly be missed by all and will always be our hearts.
