Marie M. Cassidy

Marie Margaret Cassidy passed away at the age of 90, on December 5, 2010 at Attleboro Nursing Home in Langhorne. Marie was an original Levittown homeowner, where she resided for over 50 years and a dedicated parishioner of Saint Michael the Archangel Church. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was a 1937 graduate of Hallahan High School for Girls. Throughout her career she worked as an administrative assistant at Crown, Cork and Seal and Franklin Electric. In her spare time, Marie took great pleasure in keeping in touch the old fashioned way with her many dear family members and friends. Marie is survived by her two loving children Colleen Airgood and her husband Ernest of Springfield, Va and Sean Cassidy of Morrisville; four grandsons Christopher Airgood, Dylan, Austin and Brendan Cassidy and a grandaughter Corey Airgood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday, January 8, 2011 10:30 AM at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where friends may call after 9:30 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
