Marion T. Slack

Marion T. Slack passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home in Warrington at the age of 96.Born in Scranton, Mrs. Slack has been a longtime resident of Middletown Township and was a faithful member of Queen of the Universe Parish, Levittown.Inspired by a meeting with Mother Teresa, Mrs. Slack was the co-founder with her late husband, of Mary's Cupboard which they started in their own home.She was selected by the Knights of Columbus Council as Catholic Woman of the Year. Mrs. Slack was extremely dedicated to helping the needy.Beloved wife of the late Donald H., Mrs. Slack is the loving mother of Mary Ellen Swanson (Jeff), Maureen Dailey (Vance), Eileen DiPento (Michael) and Ann Marie Broderick (Alan).She is the devoted grandmother of Maura Dailey, Justin Dailey (Melissa), Melissa DiPento (Ryan Venezia), Rachel Yanoshik (Nick), Christopher and Dawn Swanson, Carolyn McCune (Michael), Charles and Nicholas Adams; and proud great grandmother of many.Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 10:30 am until 12:00 at pm, at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:00 pm. The Rite of Committal will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mary's Cupboard, 100 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, PA 19054.
