Marlene Rose Randazzo

Marlene was born in Mt. Savage, MD, to parents, Frank and Margaret Snyder. She graduated from Beall High School in Frostburg, MD in 1950. Marlene was a full-time housewife and mother of 5 until the age of 31. She then established a career as a Quality Control Inspector for Del Val Plastics in Tullytown, PA and then Nylomatic in Doylestown, PA for a combined total of 40 years.

Spending time with her family and friends was her greatest joy. She was a self-taught piano and organ player and could easily pick up any instrument and play. She enjoyed her many years of being involved with Ferko String Band as her husband was in the band. She loved to travel but also spent many enjoyable years camping with friends at Bakers Acres in Tuckerton, NJ. She was always ready to dance and sing.

Her heart was as big as the sky. She never left anyone be alone or feeling out of the loop if she could do something about it. Even in the last few years while residing at an Assisted Living facility in Yardley and while battling her own illnesses, she reached out to anyone she felt needed a friend.

Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, William Randazzo, her daughter, Pamela Hines, her son in law, Dennis Long and her grandson Ian Patrick McSherry. She was also preceded in death by her 11 brothers and sisters..

Marlene is survived by her daughters: Margaret Long, Patricia Berton (James Berton), Paula McSherry (Sean) and Penny Dworsky (Ron); her step-daughters: Linda, Cathy , Donna and Mary; and her grandchildren Jason Berton (Tracey), Lisa McCartney (James), Kyle Hines (Jackie) and Alexandria Lewis (Bobby). She was the proud great grandmother of 10 and great-great grandmother of 2.

A viewing for Marlene will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
