Mary Devlin

Mary Theresa Devlin (Herrmann) died peacefully on March 21, 2014 at Sabal Palms Nursing Home in Clearwater, FL. She was an original Levittown homeowner (Orangewood) before retiring to Clearwater to enjoy the beach and spring training with her Philadelphia Phillies. She was 85. Born in Philadelphia, Mary was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Edna Herrmann, her husband John W., her sons William and John J., and her sister Edna Burns. Before her retirement she worked for many years as a medical receptionist for Dr. Pitkow and Lower Bucks Hospital. She was the loving mother of Carol (Dennis) Eisenbrey of Fairless Hills, Mary Devlin of Bristol, Patricia (Earl) Nicholson of Edgewater Park, NJ, and Joseph of Langhorne. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren Julie (Louis) Sepe, Casey Eisenbrey, Angela (Greg) DiDonato, John Devlin, Robert (Kelly Reed) Devlin, Ryan Devlin, Joseph Golembesky (Christine Pulvers), Michael (Sabrina) Golembesky, Jill (Erik) Kintzel; Chuck (Vanessa) Husted and Michael (Samantha) Husted and 11 great grandchildren Louie Sepe, Gabriel, Caitlyn and Meghan Eisenbrey, Nicholas and Lucas DiDonato, Casey and Amanda Devlin, Alexia Devlin, Shane Devlin and Devlyn Golembesky. She will be sadly missed by her brothers Albert of Philadelphia and John (Dottie) of Clearwater, Florida, and her many Levittown and Clearwater friends, especially her longtime friend Ann Galioto. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 9:00 until 10:00 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA. Her memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 5201 Emilie Road, Levittown, PA. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA, where she will be laid to rest with her husband on what would have been their 65th wedding anniversary.
