Mary Louise Ferrero

Mary Louise Ferrero, age 90, passed away on July 16, 2026, in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, surrounded by her loving children. Mary dedicated her life to being a loving wife and mother, raising her four children and building a home where family was not only welcomed, but deeply cherished.

Mary was a fiercely loyal and courageous wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who carried herself with grace and unwavering devotion to the people she loved most. Known for her honesty and strength, she served as the steady foundation of her family—someone others could rely on, in every season of life. Her home was her heart’s truest place, and she was happiest when it was filled with the voices and laughter of those she held dear.

Holidays and celebrations were made special through Mary’s care and attention. She lovingly prepared meals and set tables for her four children, twelve grandchildren, and eventually their spouses and children as well. She always made sure there were enough chairs, because in Mary’s home, everyone belonged and everyone had a place. Her quick wit and unforgettable spirit brought joy to those around her, and she had a gift for making people laugh—often without even trying. Above all, she gave her family the lasting gift of togetherness, creating traditions and memories that will be treasured for generations. While gatherings will never feel quite the same without her, the love she poured into them will continue to live on in those she loved.

Mary also found joy in the simple pleasures of time spent with others. She loved to play games, and Monday night card games with her siblings were a staple in her life. She was also an avid lover of the casino, and Thursdays were often reserved for the penny slots—an outing she truly enjoyed.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James Dominic Ferrero. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Dominic Funaro, and by her five brothers and one sister. She is survived by her adoring children: Karen Ferrero, Renee Bernardino (Bob), James Ferrero Jr. (Lyn), and David Ferrero. She was the loving Grammy of twelve grandchildren: Brad, Bobby, Shane (Mallori), Dana (Gus), James (Brittany), Amber (Tyler), David, Morgan (Nate), Tara (Phil), Gina (Grant), Conner (Maura), and Dominic; and by 12 great-grandchildren, with 2 more on the way. Mary is further survived by one brother, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at St. Frances Cabrini, 325 South Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030, on Tuesday, July 21. Viewing will take place from 8:00–9:15 a.m., followed by Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem.
