

Born in Bristol, she was a lifelong area resident who touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Mary Lou’s true purpose in life was her family. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she loved deeply with all her heart. She was the kind of woman who always put others before herself and made everyone around her feel welcomed, loved, and at home.
Her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit were unmatched. Anyone who met her instantly fell in love with her, and she had a special way of making everyone feel like family. Her love, laughter, and caring heart will forever live on in the memories of those who knew her.
Mary Lou is preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Irene (nee Petrino) Monks. Mary Lou is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, James; her children, Ronald, Lucy (Kevin), Grant (Bridget), Laura (Cory), and James; her cherished grandchildren, Ronald, Marie, Adrianna, Avalynn, Aidan, Liam, Grant, Lydia, Charlotte, Cory, Nathan, Shane, and Olivia; her sister, Irene; her brother, Lenny; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 10:00 am until 10:50 am, at St Mark parish Church, 1024 Radcliffe St., Bristol, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Committal will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
