Mary A. McGinley

Mary A. McGinley of Levittown died on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Richboro Nursing Home. She was 96.Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. McGinley was an original Levittown homeowner and member of Queen of the Universe Parish.Mrs. McGinley worked for Middletown Township in the accounting department for over 20 years until retiring in 1984.She was an avid golfer and bowler, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.Beloved wife of the late Frank and loving mother of the late Deborah Crawford, Mrs. McGinley is survived by her devoted children, Dennis McGinley (Laura), Adele M. Hooser (Terance) and Robert McGinley (Lisa).She will also be sadly missed by her 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Adele Murphy (Robert) and Dolores Metzinger (James); and many nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call from 7 until 9 p.m. on Monday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Friends are also invited to attend her funeral service at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home followed by interment at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
