

Mary Simko of Levittown died on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Chandler Hall. She was 86.Born in Hazleton, Mrs. Simko has been a resident of Levittown since 1967.She was a long time active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Mrs. Simko was also a member of the St. Frances Cabrini/St. Joseph the Worker Senior Citizens and the Levittown Senior Citizens.She loved to crochet, take trips to the Casino and most of all play bingo. She was also an avid reader.Mrs. Simko was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Simko.She is survived by her brother John Jr. and was also the sister of Anna, Emily and Gabriel.She will be missed by several nieces, nephews and her dear friends the ladies of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine ChurchFamily and friends are invited to call from 8:30 until 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where a Panachida service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Her funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church followed by Rite of Committal at Resurrection Cemetery.Mass cards would be appreciated.
