Mary B. Thomas

Mary B. Thomas of Levittown died on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Aria Hospital Bucks County. She was 97. Born in Lambertville, NJ, Mrs. Thomas was original homeowner in the Magnolia Hill section of Levittown and was a member of St. Michael the Archangel parish. She spent many years working as an administrative assistant for an investment firm in Princeton, NJ. She loved to communicate with people throughout the world over her citizens band radio. Mrs. Thomas loved to write poetry and play the piano, She also enjoyed collecting sea shells and making various crafts with her collections. Mary and her husband enjoyed taking walks and proudly walked their neighborhood six nights a week. They also loved to travel together and especially enjoyed their trips to Marco Island. Mrs. Thomas was the beloved wife of John J. Thomas for 70 years. She was the loving mother of the late Janet Spade. She was the devoted grandmother of Christopher Spade (Devon), Scarlet Spade and Tara Spade and the great grandmother of Damon, Camryn and Alexandra Spade. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 9 until 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Trenton.
