Mary “Marlene” Vanhart McTamney, a resident of Warren County, PA and formerly of Levittown, PA, passed away leaving behind a lifetime of love and memories. She was known for being adventurous, brave, and kind-hearted.
Born as one of six children to Charles and Mary Ruth McTamney, she graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1986. Marlene had a passion for music and dancing. She danced on American Bandstand and trained at Taylor Dance Academy.
Marlene loved music, being outdoors, and especially her cats. She will be remembered for her strong personality and her saying, “I’m not bossy — I am the boss.”
Marlene is now reunited with her mother Mary Ruth McTamney (nee Beal), and her brothers, Michael and Matthew McTamney.
Marlene is survived by her children John and Jackie Middleswarth; her father Charles McTamney; her siblings Mark (Donna), Mitchell (Barbara), Marty (Dana); her sister-in-law Nancy McTamney; her beloved friend Scott Muzzy; her pet cat, Millie; and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on April 30, 2026, from 10:00-11:00am at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056, followed by her funeral service at 11:00am. She will be laid to rest at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Morrisville, PA.
