I had the pleasure of working with Mike over the past 6 years. He was always funny and sweet and would make sure you got the right part. If I had a hard question I Knew Mike would find the answer. He didn't even get upset if I wasn't sure what the part was called.
I was so sad Friday afternoon to hear about him passing. He was beloved by his customers and will be greatly missed by everyone at J K United.

I say this with a level of pride a mile high, as we both worked as paper boys for the Philly Bulletin in the 1970s/early 80s. We’d get to the branch by 2:30 and leave to start our routes 2 hours later, just hanging, laughing at everybody, laughing at life, nobody wanted to leave, There’s never been a better era in my life:: the grade school job! We didn’t quit the Bulletin, the Bulletin quit on us, You were a friend to me and everyone you met. All Pennys ended up being was the place where we continued the conversations that were started when we were kids at the branch.,
 Thanks for never letting friends go.  You were always so positive and upbeat. So many of us go back decades with you and it’s not by accident.

Pudgy came down to Florida to visit me and we went out on the big M casino boat, and he taught me  to play blackjack and  I put a coin down and I won. Of course, you’ll never forget when you won money and never forget a memory from a friend!

I worked with Mikey for 22 years. Over them years he taught me so much about our profession. He taught me how to treat people and fully help them with their needs. He did this through example and passion for his career. We became friends along the way and shared many things about our lives to each other. Been to numerous Phils games on same night as him and we made sure we met up to cheer on our team. Mike was a genuine soul who truely loved his family. His passion in his life definitely showed in his work alike. I will sorely miss him , the talks, the advice or an ear to bend. Mike was one of a kind.
