

Milagros “Mila” Lovina, age 92, passed away on March 11, 2026, in Levittown, PA. Mila was a longtime resident of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where she built a life centered around family, dedication, and kindness.
Mila was born to Jose and Leonor Bacani and raised in the Philippines. In 1969, she moved to New York City, beginning a new chapter of life in the United States. After several years in New York, she eventually settled in Bucks County, where she would remain for the rest of her life, creating a home filled with love, tradition, and strong family values.
A hardworking and devoted woman, Mila built a career as a hairdresser, a profession that allowed her to connect with others while using her talent and creativity. She was known for her warm personality and for making those around her feel welcome and cared for.
Mila was married to her beloved husband Tony Lovina for 61 years, sharing a lifetime of memories, dedication, and partnership together. Family was always at the center of Mila’s life, and she took great pride in raising and supporting her children.
She is now reunited with Tony, her daughter Leissa Sebastian; her father Jose Bacani; her mother Leonor Galang Bacani; her brothers: Jose, Alfredo, Leonilo, and Romeo Bacani; and her brothers-in-law: Elliot Dernback, Herman Velasco, and June Longa.
She is survived by her loving children: Lynn Espineli (Virgilio), Naldy Lovina, Marjory Carreon (Noli), Allen Lovina (Sunita), Ferdie Lovina (Marveth), Neil Lovina (Barbara), Richard Lovina, and Daniel Lovina (DanNette); 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; her siblings: Loida Palacio (Rafael), Violet Dernback, Josephine Velasco, Lenore McClellan (Freddie), and Caroline Longa; and her sisters-in-law: Emya, Elvira, Lourdes, and Susan Bacani.
A viewing will be held at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056, on March 17, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. on March 17, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
Those who knew Mila will remember her as beloved, brave, cherished, devoted, kind-hearted, thoughtful, honest, and wise. She lived a life defined by love for her family and by the quiet strength and compassion she showed to everyone around her. Her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched and the family she cherished so deeply.
Her family will continue to honor her memory by carrying forward the love, generosity, and dedication that she demonstrated throughout her life.
