

Mitchell Halista Mitchell Halista passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014. He was 82. He was the husband of Anita, his soulmate. He had three sons, Bruce of Mims, FL; Scott of Longmeadow, MA; and Kevin of Virginia Beach, VA. He had five grandchildren, Nicole, Bryan, Neil, Courtney and Michael. He graduated from Penn State with a degree in electrical engineering. He later attended Temple University School of Law. He earned a Patent Law Degree from the US Patent Office. He worked as a General Counsel for Honeywell. He spent many shared trips with beloved wife and sons. He was a born volunteer. He belonged to the Middletown and Falls Senior Centers, and the Elks. He volunteered for the Red Cross Bloodmobile; Big Brothers and Sisters; Levittown Library; Franklin Science Fair; Church of the Incarnation; and Bread on Wheels. He will be missed by friends and family. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 9:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church of the Incarnation, 1505 Makefield Road, Morrisville, PA 19067.
