I was blessed to have known Msgr. Miller  while he was administrator of St. Michael's parish in lower Kensington.  I couldn't wait to go to mass every week to hear his wonderful homilies. With his great intellect, he made everything so easy to understand.  Msgr. Miller had a profound effect on my life and my understanding of the Gospels. He was a wonderful priest, a wonderful teacher and a wonderful person. He always made time for everyone even when he was spread thin. He was humble, patient and kind, yet he was also a savvy business person. With little notice, he arrived at the hospital late at night when my mother and father were dying [both times]. I will always love Msgr. Miller and will be forever grateful to God for sending him into my life.  I will miss him dearly.  Rest in Peace Msgr. Miller.

God Bless you Monsignor. Thank you for your understanding and true devotion. Thank you for Baptizing my children even though I am not Catholic, you did it for the love of your faith. You are truly missed.

Monsignor Miller was a wonderful servant of God. I have great memories of his 5pm Saturday chapel Masses at Saint Michaels.Monsignor Miller always had a way of making your day better.His Homilies were relevant and informative.My prayers go out to his family.

Dear Family take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.  I know that my family and I will, for when Monsignor and I served Cabrini years ago together, he was our special Angel.Thank you Monsignor. You will forever be in our Hearts. I had the privilege of working WITH Msgr. Miller at ST. Michael/Immaculate Conception  in Philadelphia.  He held to many of the traditional ways of the Catholic Church, but also recognized many of the modern aspects of the Church.  He was kind generous and gentle with everyone he met. He always had a habit of saying hello to anyone he met on the street. The children at LaSalle Academy looked forward to his visits to the school and attendance at the monthly Mass.  The homily was always based on the Gospel which was applied to life today along with an appropriate story to enhance that Gospel including comparing me to the widow in the parable of the widow,s loss of a coin. (I couldn't get the checking account to settle for a few cents.) I know that he is in heaven.To Msgr. Miller's Family,I send my deepest condolences.  Msg. Miller told me when he informed me of his illness that he was ready and had made his peace.My prayers go out to you and him.Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord and let perpetual light since upon him. Amen.  In the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Amen.

Monsignor Miller was one of the most brilliant men I have known.  I learned so much from this man about the Catholic faith. He is one of the most traveled, brilliant, faithful men that I have known. He changed my view of the church in many ways. He opened my eyes to so much. I made my Confirmation as an adult and going through that process with him as my guide was something I can't describe. He truly was one of the most brilliant men I ever met (and not just about faith).  He baptized Matthew and retired not long after. When Fiona was born, I asked if he would return to baptize Fiona. We are truly blessed to have had him in our lives and pray that he rests in peace in paradise for all of eternity. We love you forever, Monsignor Miller!

I am so grateful to God for Msgr. Miller's influence in my life. In as few as two short years, Msgr. Miller had enriched and strengthened my spiritual awareness and prayer life, just by being in his presence and listening to his wonderful homilies.  He was a true gift to our faith community in Jenkintown!  His humble yet tremendous wisdom always taught me something profound, yet he made it simple for me to understand.  I will always remember his kindness. He made time for everyone.  I know he's happy now and I'm confident he's praying for us all!

Hi Monsignor Miller! :)You were a great man here on Earth.  You are an angel in Heaven now.  Your reward in Heaven now is that you had a lot of patience with me.  And for that, I am very grateful. To Betty and Family,Monsignor has been such a great part of the formation of our family's faith at St. Frances Cabrini Parish and further.  He was a great friend to George and I and will be greatly missed.  Not only was he our Pastor and friend, he also was my employer as Secretary of St. Frances Cabrini School.  He was an amazing boss who always treated me more an equal than under his employ.  He always listened to ideas and suggestions and worked with us in every step of Parish life.  I have witnessed his intelligence, kindness, amazing knowledge, compassion, and respect for others, no matter what their role in life.  He was a Priest all other clergy should emulate.  He truly followed and walked in Our Lord, Jesus Christ's footsteps and was a true father figure to many of us.  We also thank you for unselfishly sharing your brother with us. Be comforted in knowing he will be missed and is now at peace in the presence of all the angels and saints in Heaven.

To John, my dear friend since our days together at St. Michael's grade school.  I'm so happy to have another angel to pray for me, but I was hoping you would say my funeral mass for me.  I'll find someone else but no one to compare with you.  Please give my love to my parents and all our friends already in heaven, especially Kathy, Dominic and Henry. To Betty and family, my true condolences at this time of loss.  John was ready and anxious to make this final trip and we can be assured that his suffering is over.

Monsignor Miller was a special priest, who we were blessed to have in residence at Immaculate Conception. When he came to our parish, he became a teacher, advisor, and friend to our son, who is now studying at St. Charles Seminary. He was a man of faith and intellect, but a real person to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. We can only rejoice that his pain is over and he is where he belongs, with God who he loved so very much. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family. We will miss him terribly and quote him often.
