Nancy L. Tedesco

Nancy L. Tedesco died on Thursday, February 4,2010, at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. She was 88. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Tedesco was the daughter of the late Dominic and Lucy (Giuerria) Caruana and the step daughter of the late Crocefissa Caruana. She has been a resident of Levittown since 1961. Before World War II, Mrs. Tedesco used her fine skills to hand sew fur collars onto coats. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Tedesco is the beloved wife of the late Stanley B. and the sister of the late Gerlando Caruana. She is the loving mother of Michael and Kathleen Tedesco of Morrisville; Judy and Frank Cuda of Levittown and Stephen and Irene Tedesco of Bensalem; the devoted grandmother of Jessica and Ed Lynch; Michael and Stacie Cuda; Rachel and Brooks McManus; Melissa and Steven Bellerby; Michael D. Tedesco and Stephen Tedesco Jr. and the proud great grandmother of Adien Bellerby and Carly Lynch. She will also be sadly missed by her siblings, Nichola Caruana; Anthony Caruana; Carol Caruana and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 13, 2010 from 9:00 until 10:00 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown 19054 where her memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment will be private. The familly has requested that memorial contributions in her name be made to Boy Scout Troop 121 c/o James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., at the above address.
